Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Serenity Sunrise Counselling Ltd may offer refunds for counselling services. As a therapeutic service, counselling is delivered in real time and cannot be returned once completed. For this reason, refunds are not available for sessions that have already taken place.
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
Client‑Initiated Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice will not be charged.
Missed Sessions (No‑Shows)

If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will still apply.

No refunds are available for missed sessions.
Refunds for Completed Sessions
Because counselling is a professional service delivered at the time of the appointment, no refunds are available once a session has been completed, regardless of the outcome or personal experience of the session.
This is standard practice within therapeutic services and ensures fairness, clarity and professional boundaries.
Pre‑Paid Sessions
If you have paid in advance for multiple sessions:

Any unused sessions may be refunded only if they have not yet taken place.

Completed sessions are not refundable.

If you choose to end therapy early, you may request a refund for future sessions that have not yet been delivered.
Service Cancellations by Serenity Sunrise Counselling Ltd
If we need to cancel a session for any reason:

You will be offered a rescheduled appointment, or
-
A full refund for that session if rescheduling is not possible.
